Why Give?
Every contribution, large or small, makes a difference. No matter who you are, you can assist the Foundation in providing scholarships, equipment, and financial support to the College. Through your donations, you can provide deserving students with employable skills and a strong, bright future.
We need your help. While state assistance, tuition, and fees partially sustain our College, they do not fully fund all the training opportunities, equipment, and strategic growth Davis Tech provides for its students. The Foundation relies on partnerships with other foundations, corporations, business leaders, and the community to ensure the success of the Davis Tech and its students.

Stocks and Bonds
The Foundation welcomes gifts of Stocks and Bonds if they are listed on an exchange daily, regularly traded in over-the counter markets for which published quotations are available, or shares of a regularly reported mutual fund. Gifting Stocks and Bonds may have positive income tax consequences for the Donor. For more information about donating gifts of stocks or bonds call Lindsey Rees at 801-593-2374.

Create a scholarship
More than 70 percent of Davis Tech adult students belong to the low- to moderate-income category. Your scholarship contributions give students economic freedom as they gain marketable skills to find or increase employment. Your support makes a difference and helps make the dreams of many students a reality. Scholarship donations of any size are welcome, in addition to named or program-designated scholarships.
In-kind Donations
The College welcomes in-kind donations that support the College and its programs. In-kind donations include:
- Equipment and Supplies
- Program Materials
- Healthcare Supplies
- Textbooks/Manuals
- Auction Items for Fundraisers
Please contact the Foundation Office to find out if your gift meets a program need.

Legacy Gift Platform
As a legacy donor, you can share your success with future generations of students and help them achieve their dreams. Scholarships and other funding provided by legacy donors are a fitting way for community leaders to continue to help the Davis Tech make a difference in our community.
An excellent way for you to support the Davis Tech is by leaving a bequest in your Last Will & Testament or your Living Trust. There are many ways to make a bequest to the Davis Tech, including:
- Specific Bequests
- Percentage Bequests
- Residual Bequests
- Contingent Bequests
- Annual Scholarships
These gifts can provide a lifetime income to the donor and reduce income or capital gains taxes while making a difference in the life of an individual and enhancing the viability of the College.
Please speak with your estate planning attorney, who can help you draft a bequest. If you have any questions about how to make a bequest to Davis Tech or would like to request information to help you and your attorney in this process, please contact the Foundation Office at 801-593-2374.
